Can you please tell us more about your website?

I launched TourMyIndia in 2005, an online travel platform to pursue my passion for travel blogging. Later, the company boosted as a private limited in the year 2013 and has emerged as the “Best Upcoming Inbound Tour Operators in India”. It has been awarded in the category of “Excellence in the Tourism Industry” by World Tourism Brand Academy. We are a Noida-based company, with a strong presence in the inbound travel trade and corporate segment, today with our branches over Delhi, Mumbai, Agra, Jaipur, Haridwar, Rishikesh & Badrinath.

We specialize mainly in organizing Adventure, Cultural, Religious, hill station & wildlife tours in India through a sprawling network. We also provide holiday packages, customized as per the client’s needs and budget.

What inspired you to start TourMyIndia?

I was doing my post-graduation when I entered this beautiful world of blogging. As regards inspiration, it was just during some Google searching on some topics that I had bumped into the beautiful world of the blogosphere and the design and content of some of them really struck me.

Then the second inspiration came from this place of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. The place is so beautiful and the people and the culture of this place influenced me so much that I wanted to bring to light this little-known place to the entire world. So, then I decided to have a website to cater to people’s travel needs.

What are the challenges you faced? How did you overcome it?

The challenge is in being able to offer a unique experience with every trip a user books with us. Today with our fast-paced lives, limited time, and the plethora of similar websites there is still a section of people who are looking to find something interesting from a different perspective that has a unique element to it.

What would you consider to be your biggest achievement in your journey so far?

The biggest achievement is the heartfelt words that I receive from our customers from time to time. I recall a client who said he was so happy with the trip we customized for them, that he almost wanted to treat me at a restaurant in America that I had specifically included in the itinerary.

Yes, there are numerous brands. Among them, a few are Austrian Airlines, Tropicana, MakeMyTrip, Golfers Shot Whisky, Godrej, Dell, HTC, among many others.
