Amazon Advertising said it has nearly tripled its ad-supported streaming audience reach since last year. The company said it now reaches more than 55 million monthly active viewers of ad-supported OTT content. Its new audience reach figure includes Amazon’s Fire TV, its set-top-box/smart TV platform business, and IMDb TV, its ad-supported streaming service.

Ari Paparo, founder of Beeswax says there are a bunch of Ad Tech companies that will be going public in 2021, and to go public, companies likely need $ 100 million in revenue, some profitability and growth.

Last year Google increased its investment in news partnerships to meet growing reader and publisher needs and launched Google News Showcase. An initial version of the product is rolling out to benefit users and publishers in Australia. From February 4, a growing number of Australian publishers will be paid to provide content for News Showcase.

Snapchat gained 16 million daily users to hit an average of 265 million in the fourth quarter of 2020. This is an increase of 47 million, or 22%, year-over-year. Snap said Spotlight, its rival for tik-tok, grew to over 100 million monthly active users in January 2021. The company said it spent $40 million on Snapchat Spotlight, which debuted in late November, in Q4.
