It raised a total of $165 million that may increase by an additional $24.8 million if the underwriters buy additional shares within the next 30 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) annual Podcast Revenue Report, podcast ad revenue in the United States will reach $2 billion by 2023. Despite the pandemic, podcast sales increased 19% in 2020 to $842 million, up from $708 million in 2019 and $479 million in 2018. <\/span><\/p>\n

Amazon and the Women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s National Basketball Association (WNBA) announced a multi-year agreement giving Prime Video exclusive global streaming rights to 16 WNBA games per season, as well as the Commissioner\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Cup Game on August 12. It marks the first time Prime Video has exclusive global streaming rights to a women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s professional sports league.<\/span><\/p>\n

Italy’s antitrust watchdog announced that Google had been fined 102 million euros for abusing its competitive position with its Android smartphone operating system and Google Play app store.
