1. <\/strong><\/span> Substack Is Raising $65M At A $650M Valuation (Axios)<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Substack is investing $65 million in additional venture capital financing, valuing the firm at about $650 million. The round is being led by existing investor Andreessen Horowitz. Substack, which offers a forum for authors to post paying email newsletters and retain most of the revenue, has increased in popularity.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. <\/strong><\/span> BBC Four Will Be Focused On Archived Content (TheGuardian)<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The BBC has confirmed plans to turn BBC Four into an \u00e2\u20ac\u0153archive\u00e2\u20ac\u009d channel, as it announced a greater focus on \u00e2\u20ac\u0153young-appealing\u00e2\u20ac\u009d programs. Currently, the channel is required to provide 175 hours of new arts and music shows per year and provide \u00e2\u20ac\u0153an intellectually and culturally enriching alternative to mainstream programming on other BBC channels\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. <\/strong><\/span> Comcast Launches Disney+ And ESPN+ On X1 And Flex (Variety)<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

In a significant new integration, Comcast has added Disney+ and ESPN+ to its Xfinity pay-TV and broadband services. The two streaming services will be part of the main user interface for X1 TV customers as well as on the Flex broadband video package. Comcast is the No.1 US cable operator, with X1 accounting for about two-thirds of its 19 million residential video customers.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. <\/strong><\/span> Tricentis Acquires Performance Testing Service Neotys (TechCrunch)<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Insight Venture Partners led a $165 million Series B round for Tricentis, which has announced to acquire Neotys, a popular performance testing provider with an emphasis on contemporary business software and a tests-as-code philosophy. Neotys, based in France, was established in 2005 and raised approximately \u00e2\u201a\u00ac3 million prior to the acquisition. It has about 600 users for its NeoLoad site.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. <\/strong><\/span> Vista Acquired Major Shares Of TripleLift For $1.4B (AdWeek)<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

TripleLift, one of the largest advertising technology platforms in the world, announced today that Vista, a leading global investment firm focused on enterprise software, data and technology-enabled businesses has acquired major shares for $1.4 billion to drive innovation across TripleLift and accelerate global growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

6. <\/strong><\/span> Vungle Aims To Evolve As Programmatic Ad Platform (AdExchager)<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Vungle, a mobile ad network has got a $750 million investment from private equity firm Blackstone in July 2019. Vungle acquired app performance optimization startup AlgoLift in October followed by gaming analytics provider GameRefinery in March with a view to enter into performance marketing platform, according to its CEO Bondy.<\/span><\/p>\n

7. <\/strong><\/span> T-Mobile Shuts Its Streaming TV In April Partners With YouTube (TheVerge)<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Within 5 months of its inception T Mobile announced closure of its streaming TV services TVision\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s three bundles of live channels at the end of April as it struck a deal with YouTube for \u00e2\u20ac\u0153live TV solution\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.
